TO MY HEALTH

Much has been said about family doctors and about their availability, especially during our pandemic times. Fortunately, I have a very special family doctor. Dr. LT has been looking after me for 3 or 4 years, she has been more than what I had hoped for.

Because of the pandemic, she does most of her tasks by phone, she keeps a checklist of all the items related to my health and well-being..

Prior to yesterday's telephone call, I was thinking of her, I decided that I would ask her how she was, I thought that maybe no one ever asks a doctor about their health, I believe that she was surprised and astounded that one of her patents would question her about her health.

She thanked me, assured me that she was well and that her health was excellent. I then went through the normal replies to questions she had on her checklist, it was confirmed that my health is also on the upside and, come to think of it, I am feeling very good. No pain, no cane, only minor discomfort related to my aging process.

While on the subject of aging, I am aware that many people much younger than me are passing on, as I get older I often realize how lucky I am to be still around and feeling so good. My memory is still intact.
