So i happened to be on the Thames River side sidewalk on the street in front of my house, walking on the sunny side as it were, whereupon to my surprised delight and excited photographic instincts I notice green where silver should be.

Bingo. My very first, up close, personal, and in living colour, Praying Mantis.

Not one but two. Not only that, but I suspect that it is a mother and daughter.

Mom eyes never left me.

The daughter never came onto my finger.

Mom ventured onto my fingers but kept looking for a way off.
