Energetic Surge of Living Stems

I’m pleased to share my latest artwork, "Energetic Surge of Living Stems." This piece features six distinct flower arrangements, each set within its own uniquely shaped vase and displayed along a richly textured wooden shelf. The vases vary in form and color—from an orange cylindrical vessel holding a purple, branching plant, to green and dark purple round vases with red and pink flowering stems, a tan bulbous vase with tall green stalks topped in red, and finally three orange oval vases filled with dense clusters of small white flowers accented with red.

Each plant is an original creation, blending botanical inspiration with imaginative design. Beneath the shelf, handwritten labels in red and black ink identify the different varieties, adding a personal, natural element to the composition. The artwork relies on vibrant colors and precise line work, balanced with shaded areas that give depth and bring vitality to each stem and flower.

The process challenged me to integrate botanical accuracy with stylized artistic expression, ensuring that every detail contributed to a cohesive yet lively scene. This piece reflects my interest in how individual elements—unique plants and vessels—can come together to create an energized, harmonious display. I look forward to hearing how this collection resonates with those who appreciate detailed observation paired with creative interpretation.
